WEEKEND - NATIONAL COUNTDOWN SHOW WITH AL GROSS
|

Al Gross owns every top 40 record from 1955
to 1970 encompessing one of the largest record libraries in the world. While
Casey Kasem started his infamous "American Top 40" countdown show in 1970,
Al's show goes earlier than that. Every week, he'll profile the top 40 songs
from 1955 to 1970. It's top 40 radio exactly like you remember. The original
songs, stories, jingles, commercials, and newscasts.
The National Countdown Show is a time
capsule of the golden age of top 40 radio. The show is designed to be
listened to in the foreground unlike a lot of radio thats simply programmed
to be background music for the workday. We hope you make an appointment to
listen to Al Gross every Saturday.
Al Gross has paid his dues in the radio
industry working in California, and having the distinction of being the
longest running morning show host in St. Louis, Missouri.
